| Squaw peak, near Evergreen Colorado, has 3 trail heads which are 8, 9, and 10 miles to the west of the Evergreen parkway on route 103. At the peak you will find a fire tower. Note that in the late spring, summer, and early fall months this is a popular target shooting area. My dog is not to fond of this attribute. |
| We got lucky this day and there weren't any target shooters active in the area. Had there been, Rocket would have insisted on going home. |
