| St Mary's Glacier can be reached by driving in I70 West out of Denver and taking exit 238 onto Fall River Road North. Take this road 9 miles in and you'll see the trail head on the left. Parking is tight and highly restrictive. |
| This hike was on a full moon on Christmas Eve. Rocket seemed content. I had camera troubles, cold hands at times, and pestering winds. After seeing the photos I've decided it was worth it. |
