| The Waldorf Road can be found by driving towards Guanella Pass from the Colorado I70 side. One should take the Georgetown exit from I70 and drive past the resevoir. The road does switch backs and the parking lot will be at the top. |
| The goal of taking this trail is to see the abandoned mine which is on the trail that roughly follows the power lines heading towards the southwest. |
| Note that this trail may be frequented by motorized vehicles. The avalanche danger here is low. |
| Our hike started out with no snow in the parking lot and we quickly were in snow half way to our knees. This was a cold snowy day. We didn't quite get to the mine as our trail unfortunately became river. |
